Justice Myint Aung has been appointed as the Justice of the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar since March 2011. He was previously appointed as the Divisional Judge of Yangon Divisional Court in 2009.

Justice Myint Aung was born in 1952. He got his B.A (Psychology) Degree in 1972 from Mandalay Arts and Science University. He achieved the Higher Grade Pleadership Certificate in 1981. He started his judicial career as a Grade-4 Judicial Officer in 1974, and served as a Judge at different levels of the Judiciary for over 35 years up to the post of the Divisional Judge of Yangon Division. He is married.
